WCA would like to congratulate Nicholas Johnson on a job well-done and wish him the best of luck in the continuing competition for the National level of the Georgia Southern Baptist Convention Bible Drill Competition. Nicholas has competed for 7 of the last 8 years starting as a 4th grader. (He took last year off). This year he decided to compete as a high schooler first time. (Children's division 4-6th grades, Youth division 7-9th grades, and High school division 10-12th grades). He met the criteria to progress from church to association to region to state level. On May 11th, He competed against 17 or 18 other high schoolers from across the state of Georgia at Mountain Park Baptist Church in Stone Mountain, Georgia and won the State competition, also securing a $500 scholarship to the college of his choice from the Georgia Baptist Convention in the process. He will now go on to compete against other Southern Baptist High Schoolers from across the country at the National Bible Drill competition to be held in Duluth, Georgia on June 21. Nicholas, we will be praying for you!
