Pray for Barbara Raines and Family

WCA Family,

I am asking you all to pray fervently for our Principal, Barbara Raines and her entire family. Barbara's father died last week. That grief alone warrants prayer for them all. Laying upon that grief is the knowledge that he died with COVID-19. His wife, Barbara's mother, is hospitalized with the symptoms waiting for the test results, but it is assumed she is positive. Barbara, her husband, Julius, and her son, Kenan have just received their test results back that they are all positive with the virus. Barbara is coughing and feeling tired. Julius seems to be having a little tougher time at this moment with coughing, chills, headaches, and body aches. Kenan seems to be fine at the moment. Her daughters, Kayla and Shayla are fine. Shayla is a Nurse Practitioner in Atlanta and also needs prayers as she is on the front lines there.

The whole family seems to be in good spirits. They trust the Lord mightily, but this is an unprecedented time in this country, so we need to stand with them and ask the Lord to surround them with his Love and his angels to minister to them at this time and keep the struggles that Satan might try to attack them with away from their door.  Barbara and her family love WCA and have given much to this ministry and its families. Even now, Barbara is trying to keep up with the work despite assurances to leave it be and just rest. Send them love my WCA family.

We are praying for all of you, as well, during this time, WCA families. We pray that God surrounds you with His love, protection, and provision. If you have specific needs that you wish for us to pray for, please don’t hesitate to contact us. God is in control and still on His throne. He knows our todays and our tomorrows. He will guide our steps and turn what is meant for evil and to destroy into good for those that love Him. We don’t understand the why’s, but we can’t stand on His promise to always be with us and never forsake us. We love you all, and we stand together in spirit as we watch God work in this broken world and show His glory.
